My Resumé

About Me

I have been working as an assistant project manager for the last 7 years. My responsibilities have ranged from design to construction administration. I have had regular contact with our clients and the construction managers, and I look forward to doing so with my next employer. Over the course of my twenty-seven-year career, I have worked on variety of building types which include pharmaceutical laboratories, corporate interiors, education, commercial, retail, mixed use, amenities, single and multifamily housing. I received a Bachelor of Architecture in 2015 from Drexel University & a Master of Science Sustainable Design in 2017 from Philadelphia University (now part of Thomas Jefferson University).

I am flexible and adaptable. The project managers or partners at Martin & Toll had often asked me to manage and complete alone, many of the projects I have worked on over the last 12 years, but I have also had others working for me, and I have worked as part of a larger team. I am always open to suggestions and constructive criticism, and I prefer it on an ongoing basis rather than in a six month or yearly review because the sooner I know, the sooner I can correct and improve. Please view projects below or see my resumé in PDF format with extended list of projects.

Outside of the office, I enjoy hiking, gardening, landscaping, cooking, writing poetry, playing with our two neurotic dogs, and simply relaxing with my partner.

Work Experience

(September 2017 to July 2024) Martin Architectural Group - Philadelphia, PA
Assistant Project Manager

As part of my responsibilities, I often talked to and met with clients, coordinated consultants, managed others, conducted code reviews, design, schematic and design development, construction documents, construction administration, city comment responses, and site visits.

Projects:

Golden Beach Civic Center, Golden Beach, FL. : The Town of Golden Beach

The Golden Beach Civic Center is one of my highlight projects. It is a 35,400 SF civic building housing the town hall, staff offices, council chambers, police operations, and emergency bunker. I met with the Town Manager and the Assistant Manager, the construction manager, and consultants often over zoom. I had also done a few site visits. Martin had designed and submitted the permit drawings before I became a part of this project. I had to learn quickly to begin implementing changes and revisions, as well as answer RFI’s and evaluate submittals. The shell was already well into construction when the client asked for changes. Our team and our consultants worked with the Town Manager and Construction Manager to redesign parts of the interior layout per the Town Manager’s request and aided the construction manager in delivering a great finished product.

My responsibilities included Construction documents, Construction administration, RFIs, Submittals, Consultant coordination, consulting the Florida Building Code, construction meetings, client meetings and Comment responses.  This was a Revit project which is why I was placed on this project.

My responsibilities included Design, Design development, Construction documents, Construction administration, RFIs, Submittals, Consultant coordination, Code review, Life Safety, construction meetings, client meetings and comment responses. I had someone to help with interior elevations and enlarged plans.
